Starting as an independent contractor in 1997, Carolyn Green has developed a unique way of helping organizations build the relationships they need to be successful.
“I see possibilities,” said Green when she incorporated C. Green & Associates, Inc. in January 2013. “Anything I can picture in my head I have always been able to make happen.”
She was excited about starting a company that specialized in providing communications support to individuals and corporations with new ideas and new programs.
Green prides herself on finding easy to implement strategies with big payoffs, and she offers support services to help keep staff from getting overwhelmed.
“The key is to not let the everyday details required to run a business block the big picture priorities,” said Green. “I can step out to a quiet place to develop work plans and support materials that achieve organizational goals so that special events or outreach efforts won’t interfere with daily operations.”
No matter how unique the task, the first step is usually to identify the people you need to help, to get them to understand your ideas, and to get them interested.
“Big changes occur in small steps,” said Green. “Most ideas die because the leadership team is too stressed to take a simple next step or do the simple outreach needed to get other people involved.”
